Hello, Everybody! I hope you're having a great time on this beautiful weekend! Here's a really nice drawing for you to enjoy, from Caden in the 3rd grade. Thanks for sharing it, Caden -- I love the bright colors! xoxo, Amy Good morning! I hope everyone is enjoying today's beautiful weather! And speaking of beautiful, here's a drawing shared with us by Ranee from the 4th grade. Don't you think this would make a great cover for a fairy tale book? Thank you, Ranee! I hope you all have a very happy weekend! :) Amy Hi, Everyone! I hope you had a great staycation! It sure was nice to have a few sunny, warm days. Did you get outside to enjoy the sunshine? I rode my bike, wrestled weeds from my garden, and read (a lot!).
Peyton from the 3rd grade has been busy with some of her favorite hobbies and was nice enough to share some pictures of what she's been doing. It looks like she's going to have a great garden this year! And I love her artwork, too. Enjoy! Please send me pictures or stories about what you've been doing! We can all stay connected a little better when we share our experiences. :) :) :) Amy These beautiful drawings are from two talented sisters, Adi and Mara! I'm so happy people are using their time to be creative! Keep your submissions coming! xoxo, Amy Hooray to Kingsley for getting the ball rolling yesterday! I've received several great submissions today. I hope you enjoy them all!!Tessa, a kindergartner, loves to look at interesting pictures on the Internet and then draw her own versions of them. On the left is a picture of the Miracle Gardens of Dubai, which is created from 45 million flowers, and on the right is Tessa's rendering of it. Tessa is an amazing artist! Thanks for sharing your artwork, Tessa! :)Brady, a third grader, wrote a great acrostic poem for library class. I love how he chose flowers as his word to represent spring...and his illustration is really nice, too! Thanks for sending this along, Brady! Great job! :) I know if you're anything like me, you're also missing our wonderful WRVS dog, Murphy! Luckily, Mr. Ligett (aka "Mr. Legit") sent this picture today so we can get a much-needed glimpse of Murphy! Mr. Ligett said, "Murphy is waiting for someone to read him a book." ...Hmm...I wonder if he'd like Pig the Pug?! ;) And last but certainly not least, Ms. Planck sent a picture of a needlepoint sampler she's made during the past week. It's not only beautiful, but it sends a message we all need these days. Thanks, Ms. Planck! Keep your blog submissions rolling in! It's so fun to see what everyone is up to!
