Happy first day of May to you all!
I asked students to write "found poems." Cut out words you like from a magazine or newspaper and re-arrange them into something that sounds interesting. It's kind of like doing one of those magnetic poetry kits...but all you need is an old magazine, glue, and paper.
Our guest poets today are Brady from 3rd grade, Kingsley from 5th grade, and Miss Inger. (I love it when parents participate in their children's work! Very cool!) Thanks to all three of you for sharing!
I hope everyone enjoys these poems as much as I do!
Get outside tomorrow: it's going to be a beautiful day! :)
